Hi guys, noticed a few things while driving my GA70 supra around, only started using it alot more recently so only just noticed these things....
ok, after the car has warmed up and i have been driving for a little while and come to a stop, the revs will drop below 1000 and stall...only sometimes, car is auto btw. there is no knocking noises coming from the engine and oil is topped right up so have no idea...
also i have recently put on a 2.5" straight through exhaust system on the car and noticed when boosting it now begins to miss when reaching full boost..(factory 10psi.)... am thinking new plugs and/or leads will fix this problem??? any help is greatly appreciated.

cheers

Stalling after coming to stop after driving normally means BOV venting to atmo which is a no no with AFM's.

Check leads. Genuine or even knock off but in genuine style are going to hurt the pocket. I use generic (but thick and good quality) leads and I don't worry about the little dust cap that goes between the cam covers. Its pretty unnecessary

Hmm - factory they don't have one.

What if you knock it into neutral before you come to a stop. Does it still stall?

i dont think it stalls out if its banged into neutral...that being said, oil pressure usually drops right down before stalling......could it be a sign that the transmission is on the way out?? maybe the auto is finally crapping out. if so time for a manual box.....is there anything that i can clean the throttle body with? or do i have to manually take it off and clean?? or is there an additive around that will clean it?
cheers for the info guys
