Lol.. No you CANNOT bolt an engine mount to the vehicle it MUST be welded in and not just a Lil whorey weld from a supercheap $100 welder

Best off sourcing an engine mount and going to a panel beater or an engineer and getting him to do correct welds, then you wont be hassled when getting it certified

The standard engine mount on the cambelt side is actually bolted to the chassis.

Phanatic, get the mount welded properly in place, although when it comes time to change the mount I'm not sure what you're going to do :?

Yes but thats standard from manufacture, Changing/Adding his mount is a modification which needs to be done correct :)

And im sure he wouldnt want to be going back too an E series and A is common enough so permanent should be sweet?
