quick question. has anyone had any luck and or experience with fitting an n/a sw20 gearbox onto a 3sgte. im thinking closer ratios, but unsure wether the n/a box is strong enough.
will get an a/m lsd

I think the N/a box is suitable for a standard 3sgte

But if your looking for more power then no

quite a few people in the uk get away with running them on v6 conversions when they're nice to them, so im sure if you have some sympathy for it, it should last, never done it myself though.

If im not mistaken you have to use an 3SGE clutch plate because the input spline is different. I recall Dave/RomanV destroying a 3SGTE clutch plate in his Beams SW20 for this exact reason.

yep

Was told they're the same, but they're not.

Need NA flywheel/clutch.

Also need NA driveshafts I think.

a guy i know over in torbay who did a v6 swap, killed the n/a box pretty fast and wasn't even able to take it in for a cert lol

he sourced a 3sgte box and is getting it certed now tho...
