Having problems with Sony headunit??? Radio freq not even

Postby Rusteee » Mon May 11, 2009 9:23 pm

Hi there

I was hoping someone could help. I have a mate with a Sony headunit, and the frequencyies of the tuner go up in like .3 instead of normally .5
ie:

it goes 87.5, 87.8, 88.1 etc so you cant get any stations like 89.8 or 93.0 or anything, seen as all stations are usually even.

This is one thing I havnt been able to figure out, is there a setting or someting? Or is it just set at an overseas frequency or something?

Cheers

Where did he get it? Alot of US headunits work like so. Sometimes a switch on the side or in the menus. Have you read the book?

Yeah the site was playing up something cronic yesterday.

Yeah look for a switch. Also have a look on the net for the manual or google something like "change fm frequency on Sony xxx-xxx) what ever model it is.
