AE85 and Smallport q.s

Just wondering: Does anyone know which was water flows through an 85 heater core (if it makes a diffrence)?

Also, which way does it go through a smallport throttle body?

it shouldnt matter which way it flow, un less the TB has some sort of check valve which id doubt
