Aftermarket gauge markings

Went to rewire my electric (not mechanical) temp guage and oil pressure and when i checked the markings on the back i have S, G, I and a power relay going into them, im assuming S, G, I stand for Signal, Ground, Ignition? Theres nothing else i can think they would be...
