Postby TRD_ZERO » Mon Jun 08, 2009 6:27 pm

Its on my blacktop, its at the back of the engine it comes off the loom at the same point as the knock sensor. Its a two wire plug.

Anyone have any ideas where it goes i just cant remember or cant seem to find it right now.

No, i know there is two plugs that go in the gearbox one for the reverse lights and one of the speed sensor. I marked those but didnt mark this one. DAmit im not liking putting this back together there are way too many hoses and crap.

Map usually has 3 wires. Its not an idle up or brake fluid level sensor is it? What colours are the wires?

I dont even know what it does as it usually the first thing I throw away from the ITB's.

It is possibly for emission control or something, so probably not.

without checking wire colours.. it sounds like the purge VSV for the charcoal can. (fuel tank vapour filter). sits under the quads with two vacuum pipes coming off the valve.
