with my 1jzgte im using a thermo switch out of a 2zzge, and switchs on just over half way on the temp gauge
unsure as to what degree that is but it cools it fine

I measured a few cars's radiator outlet temp and adusted my thermo switch top allow the water exiting at the same temp.

I have a pretty constant 90-92deg-c entering the top of the radiator.

90-95 degrees going into the radiator is what most cars run at.
