1990 Hilux Surf

Postby Nezza » Fri Jun 12, 2009 1:15 pm

I was having trouble getting my hilux into gear, so i replaced the master and slave cylinder last night. I am still having trouble getting it into gear.

It feels like the clutch is not fully engaged when i manage to get into a gear, as the car slowly moves when my foot is hard down on the clutch.

Have i not bleed the line properly, or have i got the wrong master cylinder?

pressure plate is naffed ( maybe )
or your cluch plate is ever so slightly warped/twisted which can/may lead your hilux to creep when is 1st gear or a low gear when your foot is ohard on the pedal

or you pilot bearing in the end of the crank is grabbing meaning the inp0ut shaft is still actually turning despite having the clutch in.
