Is there any way of telling what month a car was made?

yep. if its a toyota and you put the chassis code through the EPC, then it comes up with the month it was built.

if you're importing a car from Japan, it is also on the dereg papers

Flick me your chassis numbers and I'll let you know (if its a Toyota or Daihatsu)
