for the fabrication of the manifold etc i would go to sinco customs
i recently got him to make me a manifold to suit a td05 for my caldina and all the other bits like dump pipe exhaust and intercooler piping and its mint az i recommend them
as for the standalone ecu i have no idea whos the best it all depends on wht ecu your gonna be getting,
hope that helps

I would suggest Te Rapa Automotive.
They specialize in links both install and tune but can tune any computer.
Chris there is a whizz on the dyno and has tuned allsorts of cars including Colemans Toyota powered GT1 circut rocket

Sinco, Te Rapa Automotive and Mitchel are my reccomendations.

I've seen a few bombs come from Kaz, but more good than bad. So it's up to you.
Total.. I'm un-decided, when I first built my RX7, the tune was shit, got to taupo and the car had a miss-fire at 4500 until 7500rpm. Engine builder blamed Total, Total blamed Link for not telling them theyll need to put in a alti-meter. Link blamed Total for not knowing. So yeah.

Meh..

havent had any done myself, i can only go by what ive been told, but those who know ewan, he used to get all his tuning done in morrinsville. Cant remember exactly the name, its udey motors i think. Dont remember ewan ever having a problem there, always seemed happy with them. I think they tune some rally cars or something.

Uddy's know Subarus inside out and one of the best in the country for them.
Not heard much about stuff other than that.

Mitchell Race Extreme/ Extreme RPM are good for good name brand parts that you can trust. They are also very good at fabrication but i think it gets quite pricey there.

sinco does tidy work at alright prices,
Te rapa auto im not sure about... tunes iv seen from there are a bit hit and miss.
Uddy's are good, dont know about there pricing though.

I think the map ecu has a mr2 file on the website? but would pay to have it touched up for your setup.

There is a ST205 map that has been used on caldina's, i will have all of the software and a laptop for the tuner to use anyway so i guess aslong as they dont mind using that

ivan udy co-drives my uncles rally car, they're awesome out there, bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and with ecu's, you want the best. they were running links in their rally cars for years right from the first link, only recently changing to i think motec for different mapping layout? has built super GT cars there, rally cars, etc, saw a nutty ae86 in there a while back.

they don't have a dyno there, so would have to look at either road tune which some say you get better drivability, or think they can source using someone elses dyno.
