lowering springs for s/s suspension, ae101.

Postby headshotnz » Wed Jul 01, 2009 3:49 pm

Hey guys,

Any one lowered one of these with the s/s suspension.

Im looking for reviews on quality, i dont wont to lose any performance, i dont mind if it's bumpy etc, and would like as less body roll as possible.

Cheers.

If Tein make their S-Tech springs for Superstrut, then you'll not go wrong with them at all. Pricier than others maybe, but probably one of the, if not the, most trustworthy and best brands.

Why not TRD springs, I am sure our TGP sponsor can hook you up. You can't go wrong with TRD, and I think they are approx $400 for a set?

Can do TRD rear springs so that the "backend is sacked, front end in the air" look is sorted. The front s/s springs are discontinued :?

Unless you can find someone with these in stock or a secondhand set for sale somewhere it'll be tein ftw

AE101 GTZ with S/S......threw TEIN on it & am more than happy with the result. Dropped it down a bit & handles really well

Yeah i thought they might have been, im not after a "sacked" look. im not a gay boy racer :).

Also, its all ready pretty low at the back, guard starts just by the rubber, the front is in 4x4 mode how ever :(

Tein it is then.

i have been recommended,

jamex
kings
doby

etc,

All shit?

Cant recall to be honest, best bet would be to pick the phone up and do some ringing around.

I sourced mine cheaper than average Joe so wouldnt be wise to use my price as an example :)

I'm pretty sure Drivenperformance sell Tein, seeing as they are a sponser wouldn't hurt to email them to find out a price!
