Genetic engineering, like any other tool, is neither good nor evil in itself. I think it could be used to do vast good, like destroying illnesses, improving our natural resistances, increasing the nutritional value and size of various types of food, etc.
If someone from the other side could please explain just WHY we should "keep it in the lab," I'd like to hear it....I'm very curious as to what your reasoning is.
