Doing the aforementioned isnt at the top of my priority list, so much as that arguing with conspiracy theorists is below it. :)

And uh oh. I had Tamiflu the other week. Should I be planning my own funeral arrangements?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Assuming wrong of course. I was in England, there had been a satellite recently commissioned which was able to give a live feed from US to UK.

All very interesting. 3, 2 , 1 we're going to loose the signal.....NOW as they went behind the moon.......exactly on cue.......too exact. Then just a hiss......but it was an FM transmission, not AM.

You don't get to the moon by not being exact. All the times, trajectories events etc were planned to the second.

Ever heard a rocket launch commentator go '10....9.....8....meh....just go when you are ready guys'

Are these guys in on the conspiracy as well? (Amatuer radio enthusiasts that tracked radio signals from the Apollo 17 lander and command module)

Then kindly explain how they faked the sinals from the moon (including the Doppler frequency shift from the Command Module) that were monitored by both the USSR and independent observers?

duh, the russians were in on it
the cold war was just a sham concocted by hollywood and the arms companys so the USSR's and USA's arms companys could pillage the world and make money by killing poor countries and hollywood could rape the rich countries via movies. unfortunatly (or fortunately for us!) the cia/kgb/disney scheme failed when they were unable to convert thier mindcontrol devices to work via cinema projectors

so of course the russians backed up thier buddies from NASA

Wouldn't you love to have eavesdropped on the Soviet end of the hot line when the deal went down?

Zdravstvuyte.
Yo, Tricky Dick! What up, ma man?
You're not going to the moon either? Bummer!
But you're going to fake it? And even though space is our big propaganda thing, and even though it's the only thing we ever beat you at, and even though it will look like capitalist science triumphs over socialist science, you want us to play along?
Hey, we're cool with that. Anything else?
Dismantle the Soviet Union? It'll take a while. How about we pencil it in for, say, 1991?

can't wait for the scathing attack for those comments!!

they may have ACTUALLY landed on the moon at some stage, but at the time, i still doubt it happened, as it was USA Vs USSR propoganda.

lunar rocks could have easily been brought back by un-manned expeditions.
i watched a programme on Sky last week (was on TV so must be true :) ), regarding sending an-unmanned probe to the moon to check for minerals and oxygen. using Hubble they reckoned they found areas around the equator of the moon that could support life and they 'claimed' there is a very real reason to go back.

without phsyically going there and sighting the any remaining lunar buggies/modules with my own eyes, i believe it is my God-given right to doubt what has been claimed to have happened, as TV with aids like CGI/CGA can easily confuse the mind as to what is actually real.
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

f#@k you i won't do what ya tell me

I like a comment I saw on Youtube... said something like you would need an IQ below 100 to think it was fake.

Does illustrate the power of suggestion & doubt though.

Why have we not heard anything from Neil Armstrong? after all it is the 40th anniversary and he has not been heard of for a very long time.
