Is the moon landing a bit of a touchy subject back in Mother Russia?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

wtf

oh i get it

your taking the piss!

Fangsport..... "where's the 1000000000% verified evidence they did"
ok, they filmed themselves on the moon
they took photos there
they bought back samples
no one has ever come forward EVER saying they were involved in a faking.

theres some evidence
now, please. refute it. properly.
with links etc to back it up.

and i challenge ANYONE to do the same.

seriously..... where is even the slightest HINT that they faked it?
just because the feat is so amazing you can't understand it, doesn't mean it didnt happen.

so no proof then?
funny that

If 43kHz isn't measurable then I wonder how the tracking stations that followed the missions arrived at that figure

And then there was silence... Guess quoting facts is a sure way to kill a conspiracy thread...

To all those conspiracy theorists out there...Come back, all is forgiven. I promise I won't use facts to debunk your theories again, well maybe just little ones...nothing to be scared of really

Probably will result in a "Oh, this is FAR too immature for me to be arguing over" or to that tune.

 the typical loser's way out of an argument when their points have been invalidated by overwhelming evidence. I honestly think it would take more effort to pull off a convincing fake than it would actually going there.

Firstly a good version of the song IMO, 2ndly take note at 4:08  (skip to it if you're impatient)

Its my right to have the 'opinion' they didn't land there. Anyone that thinks I shouldn't be able to have that opinion for whatever reason can get f**ked.

Opinions are irrelevant in light of cold hard facts. You can have the opinion that God created the earth 7,000 years ago and that cavemen never existed. That doesn't make it valid.

Cold Hard Facts are generally mass opinion, just like it was a fact the world was flat, and it was a fact that the stars revolved around the earth.

Pretty much everything is based on Theory (well backed up, tested and challenged theory, but theory none the less). Reality is nothing but a collective hunch

I agree that 'Fact' is at the far end of a spectrum of collective opinion. So there is some point at which the balance swings from 'fact'/certainty to uncertainty and finally flips to the opposite 'fact'.

At what point should that happen? You would think it would actually be UNDER 50% because it takes a lot for people to change their minds.

In this moon landing argument, in my opinion that balance between opinion is currently about 99.999999999% FOR the moon landing happening cf. 0.00000000001% Against it.

Which is another reason why I don't understand the conspiracy theorists....they are swinging their 'opinion' to the opposite end of the spectrum based on a tiny tiny amount of evidence. It is illogical to me.

This argument has never been about the right to keep an open mind or to have an opinion on things, it is simply about being able to see the vast stack of evidence confirming the Moon landings as real compared with the tiny grains of evidence countering that and forming a valid conclusion. The most valid conclusion, to a very high degree of certainty, is that the Moon landings did happen.

So what do we call facts that have been proven with science? Warm and mushy? :D

They are still facts.

At the level where they start to get fuzzy, we start to move towards pyschology and Philosophy (Is ANYTHING real? How can we prove ANYTHING exists outside our own heads? etc etc)

you forgot to add evidence, be that experimental or physical.
When there is substantial evidence, like say garbage left behind on the moon, and the fact there are independent photographs of landing sites, laser reflectors and other stuff, and you say "Nay it is all fake", well too bad for you, continue to live in your own ignorant world.

When people say moon landing was fake, they "forget" to mention that there were other moon landings (6 in total?), are they fake as well?

As opposed to the vast majority of people who believe something because they were told it happened??

I seriously don't care if they landed or not, and haven't personally researched either side enough to argue the fact. I just like saying they haven't because people get so wound up over it (and it makes a more interesting story)

Or the vast majority of people who were told to not believe what they were told to believe happen? ;)

I have also majority telling me that Lenin still lived and then when Lenin ran out popularity they were telling me Jesus resurrected few thousand year ago (zombie?), there was a flood and two of each animals got on ark and were saved and other biblical nonsense.
You can make your own opinion on facts and not on somebody else opinion, you know (you can even do it indirectly, find research and data that somebody else bothered to produce).

Conspiracy theorists they base their opinions on other theorist opinions, most conspiracy theories start as sensationalised headlines or gossip.

In fact Conspiracy Theorem is wrong classification, it should be Conspiracy Hypothesis.
