What are you on about man? Hes like the Harry Potter of F1! :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

schu's lack of fitness probably just means he's equal with the rest
i cant wait to see the headlines when he finished 12th or something. no testing = you have to race constantly to get results, and their car is slow

Just imagine if he gets a podium after being out for 3 years in Spain how much of a mockery does that make the rest of the teams...An old man unfit injured comes out of retirement spanks the living daylights out of all the next greneration of pretenders just imagine that.

It would be the biggest piss-take of all-time and I for one would love to see it....

Well it could make some great viewing. 4 world champs all in similair speed cars, all with nothing to lose. Kimi might finally wake up and step up to teh challenge, Lewis I'm sure would love to prove himself against "the best of all time", so hopefuly we get smoe fireworks! Even if its only over a couple of points.

Oh god, this is gonna be good.

Unfortunately however, I get the feeling this is gonna just tarnish the lasting impressions of Schumi being stupidly awesome, if he ends up having a fairly mediocre last run. :?

well, its valencia
a street circuit
so maybe the fitness won't be too much of an issue, not many long high G corners.

there is little doubt the man can drive, but he hasn't driven this car, or any afaik with the latest aero rules.

i would not be surprised to see him do very well, he is a 7 times champ after all...... but i also wouldn't be surprised to see him basically hold station in the race.

so taking in to account the car, i predict a finish in the 8th to 5th place if all the brawns and red bulls finish

going to be some pressure on him, but maybe more on kimi!

Don't forget Micheal has the abilty to actually overtake most of these current guys wouldn't have a clue what overtaking is

I'm laughing my head off about BMW leaving, they were so arrogant about how good they were going to be

Yet they have produced an absolute lada of a car

They should have stuck at it last year when the going was good and there car actaully looked like it could of matched a bettered the McLarens and Ferrari's rather than ditching to produce a lump of crap for 2009

Frank Williams would of been having a great chuckle over his cuppa tea this morning

hmm i dunno, a lot of these guys were racing in lesser formulas that have faaaaar more overtaking when schumi was not passing a single car (coz he was out front!) virtually every race!

hmmmmm
2010.... kimi retires/dropped schumi returns and wins more champs ala a certain airline owner

Does he drive a flying anglia?

Wasn't the last F1 car he drove equpiied with ABS and Traction control,

and the new ones not?

But i also though that he had been doing some testing for them a while back?

And Ferrari have improved the car over the last few races haven't they?

I'm sure someone of his calibur should be able to handle the new car, even without ABS and traction control.

As much as we like to say things like "Oh, Piquet sucks and Sutil is crap blah blah blah", they're all in F1, and even thought they may not be doing too well in F1, they're still pretty awesome drivers to be able to get there.

Exactly, I'm pretty sure he'd driven something like that in the past 15 years anyway
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

My predictions for Valencia;

He won't make Q3, probably qualify about 12th.
Finish in the top 10, but not top 5.

And for the following race?

I think by his second race, he should produce a better result.
