after reading a post on someone getting 13.4 km per liter in a turbo ae92 i get like 9-10kpl i put 60 bucks when it goto the light showing then put 60 bucks in of 98 think it was like 1.68 per litre and i only get 300ks out of that any ideas on what it is its had oil and filter change doing spark plugs this weekend i think its henious fuel consumption and thats half motorway half town driving my bosses v8 gets better milage on the open road than me

thats terrible, i was getting better economy with my silvertop converted ae92. And thats with me driving.

best way to tell your milage is to fill up the tank, do 100kms then fill it up again.

check your timing if you are concerned.

MR2 running the 4AGZE gets me 9-10 around town, 12 or so highway. So your numbers don't seem all that high for a Z at all.

My ae92 with 4agze gets about 300km town driving.
Seems like the same mileage as my car.

Yeah, i'm stoked with the economy I get out of the beast. Can thrash the hell out of it and it's still good on gas:) It's better than my AE82 with Bluetop 4AGE.

on the mway, what rpm is the engine doing? my 4age does about 3300rpm or something, so isn't that suited to mway driving so economy becomes worse than around town some times. i get 320-350kms out of $50 of 98 with the occasional balls to the wall type driving.

i ususally get 10-11kpL diving my gtz around town. and around 13kpl open road. Thats with big pulley kit fitted also.

dont forget to check your ecu temp sensor as well. they're known to cause them to run rich if the wrong signal is being given.

Were you talking about my turbo ae92 jaks? Yea that figure is open road, with some fun in the passing lanes and out of slow corners and stuff. was quite impressed myself. I had a standard redtop ae92 levin which got similair fuel economy as well. Around town in the turbo one I get roughly 10ks/litre
