I certainly was kidding. :)
If it was about that I'd be saying people like Leon have an unfair advantage as well; he's been doing autocross' for years.

If you manage to get in practice time that is awesome... I'm only Jealous as the corolla is disappointing compared to my race car. :P
'96 RS Mirage Race car... (and when I'm a good girl; EVO 1!!) 2014 Toyota Hilux - daily driver!!
Gone but not forgotten: Race car AE85.6 Levin, AE101 Trueno, 84 MR2 AW11, 94 MR2 SW20, SR coupe KE35, AE92 FXGT, AE91 FXZS...

Things are looking good for my cars re-debut! Got the Authority card checked off today so just have to get it to motorsport nz and wait for them and then get WOF and Rego.

Car still wont be complete but it will be enough to have some fun, and I have been out of the seat too long haha

Its not all about horsepower at autocrosses. Its all about who can drive their car faster.
Hence why the little honda city is mostly up in the top 5 spots.

That and Neil is a freak of nature who can drive anything really really fast ;)

I think we've timed him on a course driving a volvo, towing a trailer with a club car on it, and it was still a respectable time.

Because there isn't anything in the way of food at Slipway, we're intending to put on a sausage sizzle, so bring some change with you.

Will be interesting to see if the changes to my car make it better, Should have some more turn in at least.

Have authority card now and a windscreen so just need to get a WOF and REGO next week and change over the suspension bits.

Updated my list of things to buy for/do to the car as it was getting smaller, now it is twice as long

I'm sure Andrew will double it next time he comes over again :P

I'll join Al on that... Thanks for a great event.
And a huge thanks to the marshals/helpers who got a bit damp over the day helping make the day a success.

The Coroll-over lived up to expectations and my new tyres are mint in the wet!!

Also joining in on the bandwagon with that comment 8)

I am very impressed with my day, pretty much a new car which i hadnt driven for almost a year and managed to get 13th from 43 competitors.

If I ignore my bad first run in the dry where everyone basically won the event, if that was taken out of the equation then I would have been very close to the pointy end of the field :D
