Speed/rpm cut

Postby rx7guy » Fri Aug 21, 2009 6:17 pm

Hey, had my bluetop 4age out on the track recently and it seemed to hit a speed cut at 150km/h in 3rd gear, doing about 7000rpm, maybe a touch over. Shift to fourth and it keeps accelerating. Cut out is normal 7700rpm in second.

Anyone know why this would happen? Not really a problem just curious.

Also my mates nz new aw11 bluetop not running oxy sensor as standard rev cuts at 8100rpm. This normal? Do nz new have a sweet ecu or something?

Well in second it showed exactly 7700 when it hit cutout so I think so.

the speed cut and revlimit is random... i seen a bluetop ecu logged to peak out at like 8.7
