dont ask why but a mate has a ae80 with a 2a and wants to put a 4afe/ge from a ae92 in... do the mounts line up ? all i need to know

If you get hold of some AE82 $age mounts it will be simple as just bolt on

you sure its not an EE82 or EE80. with a 2E motor... 2au was VERY uncommon engine.

if it is a EE80/2 its a bit of a prick cause 4a doesnt quite just "bolt in"

AE80 isnt that uncommon, as said if its an a serie sit will bolt in.

If its an EE80 (more common) then you need to move the cambelt side mount. This is what am planning, but yet to do, sorting everything else 1st on the car, then will get to it. (FYI the mount is approx 50mm further forward on the EE80)

Also as a sidenote pretty sure there were no EE82's
