It was the first time in HISTORY that Ferrari have EVER started the grid at last place :P

I jsut love how this season get's more intresting

Kimi still is one of the best on the Grid given a car that suit's his drivng style he will beat anyone on the day

Alonso is beyond over rated, if he was a really greatd river he would of made that Reanult do somthing, and if he was so great why was he shown up so badly by Lewis, surly he should have won the 07 title by a mile if he really is as good as everyone rates him, and don't say it was becasue the team didn't support him, he had full support at the start.

Webber; Beyond over rated, it amzing to live in Austrailia, Austrilian actully think he really has a title shot

Vettel: Definatly a future world champion, now hes ahead of Webber in the championship standing I would say it won't be long until he has full backing of Red Bull for a title shot with Webber driving as support.

I think Brawn will take the WDC this year with Button, onl;y becasue of the huge lead he has built up already

I jsut hope that in the remaining 5 races we have 5 more differnt winners to keep it intresting

A Williams win for Rosberg and Glock win to Toyota would make the season for me

Agree with most of what you say apart from above. He was going pretty well in the Renault until they had the issue with the front wheel spinner. Was close up behind Kimi and Fisi, admitedly he hadnt pitted yet, but was looking like a solid result otherwise.
Why would you say he was shown up so badly by Hamilton? They had the same amount of wins, and ended the sweason tied on points? You could say Hamilton showed that they were equal, but the way you say it sounds like Hamilton trounced Alonso, which simply isnt the case.

He was up close, but the moment he had pitted he was going to be well out of the point's

I would say for a defending world champion to join a and then have this rookie team mate score the same amount of points as him would being shown up, he should have dominated 07, he had the argueably the best car, that championship was his for the losing which he proceed to do.

If Alonso attitude of expecting to be the number "1" in a team puts alot of teams off

Also would have been intresting to see if he could have won two world titles with Reanult if the mass damper was banned alto earlier than it was.

As the Ferrari team boss said today, he hope the rumors keep up as they are working a treat on getting Kimi motorvated

I think Massa has been doing a better job than Kimi for the past year or so. And Kimi gets paid more and is suppose to be the number 1 driver at Ferrari. In recent races Kimi started to drive well, maybe because he feels his job might be on the line or maybe like he says they know how to get the most ouf the car now.

Alonso cried like a baby about being mistreated at McLaren. Accused the team of screwing around with tyre pressures etc in order to favour Hamilton. If fe was as good as people think, he would have schooled Hamilton but he didnt.

I think a good (fast) driver stands out in a crappy car or in the rain.

2005 Alonso won because of Michelin. Ferrari couldnt do anything. 2006 was a bit closer.

Out of all drivers in F1 now, I would say Vettel is probably the best and then followed by Hamilton.

well seems they are not expecting massa back for the rest of the year.

so i really can't see them sticking with badoer for the rest of the season, unless they have no other option.

"For any Italian driver, a Ferrari race seat is a long-held dream and for Giancarlo it was no exception. No one should stand in the way of this. Furthermore the agreement will secure Giancarlo's long-term future with Ferrari and it would be incorrect to jeopardise this, particularly when Giancarlo has made such a vital contribution to Force India."

What a GC.

He's the reserve driver for them for next year I think.
I vaguely recall reading that FI already have two drivers signed for next year, and Fisi wasn't one of them.

Alonso, Raikkonen, Massa and Fisichella. I wonder who will be their race drivers next year...... As they all seem to have a contract with Ferrari. Or is Ferrari going to run a 3rd car?

Guess there was more to it than just Piquet's bitching.
Renault will face charges of race fixing at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix after being summoned to an extraordinary meeting of the World Motorsport Council.

The FIA have revealed that Renault will face charges of being in breach of the international sporting code relating to last year's Singapore Grand Prix.

Renault is accused of telling their former driver Nelson Piquet Jr to deliberately crash out of the Singapore race in order to force a safety car which would help the chances of team-mate Fernando Alonso.

The FIA begun investigations after allegations were made during Sunday's Belgian GP about the Singapore race, which Alonso went on to win.

The investigation resulted in Friday's announcement from the FIA that Renault officials had been summoned to a hearing that will take place in Paris on September 21.

In a statement the FIA said: "Representatives of ING Renault F1 have been requested to appear before an extraordinary meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Paris on Monday, 21 September 2009.

"The team representatives have been called to answer charges, including a breach of Article 151c of the International Sporting Code, that the team conspired with its driver, Nelson Piquet Jr, to cause a deliberate crash at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix with the aim of causing the deployment of the safety car to the advantage of its other driver, Fernando Alonso."

Article 151c related to bringing the sport into disrepute and should Renault be found guilty the team face severe sanctions which could result in them being excluded from the current Formula One World Championship.

Renault have so far refused to comment on the matter
