Alarm remote

Postby Alex B » Wed Jul 22, 2009 8:50 pm

Any one identify this remote? Car only came with one so would like to get another.

Inside the model number is TX-02 and says lintex issue 4

Would also like to know what the alarm is for insurance reasons. Guessing the only way to tell is going to be riping the dash out to find the master unit.

Yeah it is thanks. Knew it wasn't a 5 star as it doesn't have a battery backup siren.

Cheers, I tried TF Group's 0800 number a week or so ago and got no answer. Look to be an Australian firm maybe, so might have to try them.

Hmm speaking about this
My isuzu has the same remote i sadly only have 1 remote so am after another one

onthe side of my vehicle it has meridan so of course the alarm type

Heres the number
0800 731173

I might try contact them next week if possible my isuzu was imported in 2003 so hopefuly these guys are still up and running would be nice to have a spare remote and not worry about loosing my only 1

My remote also says
Tx-02 lintex issue 4

Anyone tried this place
http://www.caralarm.co.nz/go2/Meridian_-remotes/

Ive just send in a query asking about the remotes etc, so if i have success ill let people on here know so they can possibly get what they want

yea its meridain, i work at an auto sparky shop in wellington we can get these remotes but they come pre programmed to your alarm, star rating doesn't not effect the remote. the remotes are around 110 each and if you were wanting one they are overnight and i'd need you to open the remote, should be one screw in the back. inside the remote there will be a number and that number is your alarm code. you need that code number to be able to get the remote that suits your alarm brain

cheers mark
