Driver Training Day - Oct 3

Hey toyspeeders, Play Day on Track (http://www.playdayontrack.co.nz) and a few of us are running a driver training day at Taupo Motorsport Park on Saturday October 3

Cost: $100

Track: Taupo Track 2 (below)

You need to be at the track before 8.45am & bring a Helmet & clean, 100% cotton, or race overalls for the afternoon HOT laps.
This day is open to all clubs and anyone that would like to attend provided you are female! and that your car has a current WOF and REGO or if its a competition car with logbook etc it just needs to pass scrutineering.

DRIVER TRAINING OVERVIEW:
*This day will start with a short classroom session then we will break into groups to do braking tests followed by a slalom course;
*Then we will move to various corners of the track to learn the fastest lines through each corner;
*After a lunch break we will do laps of the circuit behind a pace car then;
*For the rest of the day you can do your own HOT laps but only 10 cars at a time well spaced out.
*Please note these will be run in male and female categories

We will have some people to ride with you for more instruction if you want & we will have a few caged cars there which will take you for a ride if you like.

About 1 week before the event we will send an email to everybody who has paid, with further details of the day.

Come give it a go and learn how to handle you car on a racetrack! it doesnt matter how experienced you are or what type of car you own!! give it a go!!
