Supra jza80 diff donut...

Im runing a single piece billet driveshaft in my car now an realised the rubber donut is not being used anymore, the one that sits between the diff an the driveshaft. Is this bad for the diff as ill have to get driveshft shortened to fit it in there again an also the mounting bracket is all different now with the single piece drive shaft on the diff end its no longer the y style....cheers
