Dunedin Teen Driver owes basically $50k in fines

anyone know who this drop kick is that's racked $50k in traffic fines, or the 18 year old?

if you do, please punch them in the head or take an axe to their car, as they obviously don't care & just make it bad for the rest of us

Some how doubt that will stop them, it shows they already dont care if they have that much in fines already

if they pay the fines at the minimium $30 a week = 32 years.
at $100 a week = almost 10 years.

or remit their fines and give them something like 300 hours community work ($160 per hour, not a bad wage)

justice?????

sad thing is, that they probably will get about 300 hours community service as they'll keep adding to it with more fines.

Wish I could wipe my student loan by doing 300 hours community service, or as I saw in the court news, have a 6 month jail sentence for 50k in fines.

If they get 300hrs community service, they won't do it. Then they will get taken back to court and fined $500 for failing to complete their community service. $50k -> $500 not a bad discount

I know a few people like that. I think its bullshit in a way how they can do it like that. Sometimes pays better then any day to day job so why would you pay off your fines?

Personally, I do pay my fines off, cause I feel its the right thing to do.
