It seemed to be an old event because the police man commented that if you are doing 50k or more over limit it's instant loss of license. It's only 40k isn't it? I thought now they can impound car if its 40k or more over?

yea thats what i thort? imagen if it was 40k over loss of car... 50k or more loss of car and licence >_<! not that i have ever gone over the speed limit.

yeah, its been 40k for awhile now.
i lost the demerit points i got for 37kms over, and i was told i was very lucky to have my licence.

So thats over 2 years ago, in fact i think its nearly 3 years ago when it happened.

Yeah I was about to say the same thing. And he didn't get fined for expired WOF, so was obviously from back then..

Here's hoping its on the road soon!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

When i saw that guy i thought he sounded quite 'talky' like a few TS'ers i've met before, actually said to my girlfriend "I wonder if he's on ToySpeed?". :D

Still should have been impounded. Maximum speed he was allowed to do while green stickered is 70km/h and he was doing 164km/h....over twice that  He got very lucky really.

When I saw that AE82 I was certain that the driver was definitely someone from here  Dunno why but he just screamed Toyspeed

I thought the cop was very restrained. He could've book the guy for a smashed indicator lens which is a safety thing. If it's a 'doer upper' - how safe will it be on the road?
