yeah... a couple of old ones have competed in the 24hr nurburgring race.
don't know how different they were though from when running in the V8s tho. A lot tend to end up with rather different engines as a full spec V8sc engine is not cheap!

it will either be built to the rules, therefore performance will be on par with others, or it will be as it is, in which case it will be blitzed with ease... so really, thats a bloody pointless thing to say....

so, back on topic

easy to get a R35 GTR into V8SC.

they are even commodore or falcon cars anyway, the commodore's are a foot or two shorter in the doors and rear roof,

just peel all the panels off the outer shell, they're only on with silicon and rivots, and make some with a different shape to look like a GTR.

and as for a V8SC at the ring, wouldn't be as fast as you'd think in standard form as they are actually very restricted in all sorts of area's.

Yea, they did a write up of Frosties car in Top Gear mag, and said that the car is shorter than the road going car.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Is that the Hamilton 400?

I was there this year,
working for one of the V8SC teams,
was very interesting to see how it all works.
