Good Bye Reanult

Hello Nissan in a few years time

Pretty sure Alonso is not going to be at Ferrari next year either now

Still think he average and if Reanult hadn't had the mass damper he may not have got his first championship

2nd practice, fisi last.

i reckon they were doing full fuel load runs. my guess is they will run him full of fuel at the start so he can run long, that along with using KERS, will see him in the points. providing he doesnt fail badoer style at qual.

You mean Bad-doer? Haha

Are they allowed to use KERS in qualifying?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

They have had. It's called downforce and even though thay had less than everyone else it slowed them down more.

Spa and Monza are low downforce tracks so FI can use all that good Mercedes power. They will probably return to the back marker position for the rest of the season, except possibly for Brazil.

Yes it is wrong. Piquet did what he was told to do by people who were in a very dominant position over him, should have had his best interests in mind, and should've known better.

IMHO F1 in much better off without Flavio, Pat symonds is a loss, but he had a choice not to do what he did. Now if they would implicate that Alonso knew what was happening then the world would see what an arsehole he really is

But ultimately Piquet is as guilty as any of them for race fixing. He could have stood up and refused to do so, but in the end he didnt.

I agreee with you in that I couldnt care less about Flav going, never particualry liked him and be good to see the back of him.

I'm fairly sure Flavio wouldn't have fallen on his own sword, he doesn't have that much honour. IMO it's more likely that Renault management push him on to it ;)

I think that by getting rid of Briatore and Symonds, Renault is hoping that the FIA will show some clemency and not punish them too greatly.

Piquet was stuck between a rock and a hard place really. He could have said that he wasn't going to do it, but can you imagine the implications of refusing the bosses orders? Even if they're not morally right?
