I havent long got back from living in melbourne and working was great, living was cheaps etc too. Rent for our brand new apartment was 500 each a month but the bills were only about 100 for power for 3 months!!! my flat here in wellington spend $300+ a month on power etc!!!

Before you ask .... i came back to Nz as acc are paying for reconstructive sugury for my back whereas i couldnt get that sorta deal in aussie. Back sugury is costing $60,000+

I like Aussie. Would move there if we didn't have such an investment in our business here.

Giving up a modified car is a small price to pay for all the other benefits over there imo.

lol i have to laugh that people complain about politicians, but still are doing the things that makes politicians so bad in the first place.

IE. Stating what you THINK will be bad about a solution as opposed to KNOWING what is bad.

I could see some conjoined things working, It will happen eventually, its just wholism, look at europe... 100 years ago they all hate each other, now they still hate each other but they have common currency etc. Its the whole united we stand divided we fall thing, a common currency may mean that one country may be able to support the other if one takes a hit.

Assies love their red tape, I have property in both nz and aus, purchasing in NZ was a breeze compared to oz. you need 100 points of ID to be able to get 100 points of ID.

But hey it pays well... I say keep em seperate so I can keep bringing my $1 aus back to NZ and getting 1:20 for it.

carn't say i found it much differant , only extra paper work was for first home bonus ..$7000 , thanks!
