4agte injector sizes

Postby evil_si » Sun Sep 27, 2009 10:25 pm

so what size injectors are being used on 4agte setups out there,

am i right thinking standard 4agze injectors are 370cc?

what do most people consider a good up grade,
450cc, 550cc?

im using rx7 550cc injectors, making 168kw atw on around 40 - 50% duty cycle from memory. they bolt straight up to the standard 4agze rail and plugs, just need to file the locator lugs off the side of the injectors but they still work mint.

Pretty similar setup to yours evil_si except for the quads and using 550's. Work well.

yea pretty sure gzes are 375

im running 800's - cars not going yet tho.

also got them around a year ago, when the dollar was good which factored in my decision. i think 550's are ok with a clean and a raised Fuel Pressure

was told by walter at NZEFI to run no bigger than 450cc on a g1 link as they dont control injectors that well, hence iv got 450cc VR4 jobs which with the right setup are good for 300RWKW+ plus according to Walter, ill post a dyno sheet up as the car is getting tuned on wed

damn thats alot, i couldn't run anymore than 12 before it was leaning out too much for my liking.

I have rx7 550's, they all flow tested a crap load more when tested at petroject with the rail pressures i run. 77psi max on 25psi boost.

mine are on about 88% ish at the moment on similar setup just without quads

I'd like to see 300kw on 450's.. It could be possible if you had 8 of them I spose... or a wet nos system, that might just about do it.

i would tend to agree, i think willie pushed about the max out of the 550's he had with just over 300kw atw.

he may have said 300rwhp???

on a side note they were tuning my car today got to 191rwhp (90% tuned 10.1psi) before phil noticed a slight knock above 6000rpm so had to stop, big ends + 15 PSI = 250 RWHP :D

I always wondered how those S15's get 250rwkw with stock injectors and stock FPR.......
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
