I run 550's in my 7AGTE at the start,
got to 380hp atw ( whatever that is in kw ) with a wee raise in rail pressure on the dyno before the flywheel came off.

Speedtech tune on 4agte:

365cc (4agze) @ 13psi = 149kw atw
510cc (evo 1-3) @ 17psi = 212kw atw

Standard fuel pressure and the injectors where the limiting factor on each.

ok so i have a few options at the moment,

550cc rx7 injectors easy to fit, will bolt straight in
850cc rx7 injectors, are side fed so i will need to make / modify a rail to suit

any one out there currently using 850's?

had been thinking about using standard ones and jam a couple of 1000cc injectors in the intake, but i figure id better not rob to many bits from my rx7

I don't rate the chance of 850's giving you a healthy idle, but it might be worth a try..

^^Interesting also that the 510's would only make 212kw atw. I would have thought they would be good for around 230.
current cars:
Evo 4 230Kw atw
1971 mini.
79 bugeye 245kw atw.
Evo powered mx5 under construction

doesn't really matter, you need X amount of fuel to make X amount of hp on any motor.

Just gotta be careful with rx7 550's that you get a well matched set as they are made in pairs. Out of 6 that I had my tuner was only happy with 3 of them even after cleaning etc, and he wouldnt put them in my car. I ended up going with evo 7 560's as they apparently have a really good spray pattern. Ive got an old g1 v4 lem and have had no issues with the 560's in there.

Thats what the tuner said, he normally see's 220kw on a mitsi so put it down to possibly lower pressure in the toyota fuel system vs mitsi.

Thats with a Walbro (sp?) 500hp jobbie.

212kw's is plenty for 920kg though
