Hey guys looking to buy this 91 corolla wagon that has had a 4age 20v conversion done, full disc brakes etc

Just wana know if anyone knows anything about this car?

Also the owner said it wont require a "cert" because it uses the same factory engine mounts etc (but it would have a greater increase in power from factory i thought so was thinking it would require a cert?)

Any info would be much appreciated, cheers

will need cert for many reasons
one of which being ae92 never had the 20v
Being the subject of E-whinges since 2004 8)

The owner is telling you little mincie pies.

Engine (power, regardless of engine mount situation) and brakes will indeed require cert.

Never bro! just back for summer time for a few weeks an need a run-a-round for new years etc. Thought it would be the ideal car... but with it all heading down the "Requiring Cert" path i think ill have to give it a miss.

To everyone else, it is exactly as i expected (altho i did find requirements on the internet for low volume certs that sugested it could be posible this wouldnt require a cert... maybe thats where he got his info from)

Change in brake rotor size means you have to cert. Substitution of engine for one making more power than original means you need cert too

If hes listed his mods correctly, it will definately require a cert. New engine, new brakes, +20% power over factory power output
