So, still no answer on the fuel economy of an Aritso. 6 cylinder Falcons and Commodores seem to be not too bad considering the size of them. How does the 3 litre turbo beast (2JZ) compare to these? And the 1JZ???

i cant speak for the comadores
lol
but my old xa 252 six cyl could run on the smell of a oily rag all week long, was wicked............used way to much oil at the other end of the scale

but
the 1jzge vvti was very fuel saavy both in and out of town more so on long open road drives were it got to strech its legs

the 1jzgte vvti

Overall anything Japanese (be that Chaser or Cima) will be far better quality than Australian counterparts.

Hmmmm, after this thread I've started to look at Aristo's on Trademe. I'm liking them so far.
I was actually thinking about getting a Commodore next year or maybe the year after, but it may change for some 2JZ power yet!
