Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

His little performance there didn't really help his cause!

I didn't watch the race, as it was too early, but aparently Toyota's new Japanese driver was on fire?

Bernie Ecclestone wrote: Well, he's not world champion until the end of November when the FIA announce it. He's got enough points, if everything else is alright, to be world champion and he deserves it too. He did a good job. All the question marks from the last few races, in my opinion, now have disappeared.

surely bernie and max won't rain on button's parade....

Yep I thought that was BS just show's you how hated Ferrari are up and down the pitlane though I guess as when it happend to them I didn't see anyone come out and rush to help them..I guess with Brawn being another British team they all stick together I guess.

Also Toyota lost the bidding war to get Robert Kubica aswell.Seriously I think Toyota really need a headline driver moving foward or I just can't see them being in F-1 for much longer.A race win would be good but I feel they must move on a consistent basis into that top echelon of teams and be in contention for at least the constructors championship. If this does not happen in the next 12-24 months I reckon the writings on the wall for Toyota's exit out of F-1.

So... Donnington screwed the pooch so maybe no British GP next year... or longer :o

Thats pretty pretty unimaginable to me..... France may have been the birth place of racing, but Britan is the home of GP racing.

I say hold it at Brands hatch!!!

donnington was never going to happen, Simon Gillet is a total knob, jsut do some research into the last sceme he was involved in some dodgy race track in the south of Wales that was going to hold the next Britsh GP suprisngly it never got of the ground either

What grates me msot about this situation is that Donnington is now ruined as a track and I doubt that the DLVV are going to fix it up,

Bernie will jsut sell the rights to the GP to Durkdurkstan or anywhere else willing to pay his stupid hosting costs

Brands Hatch would be great but just don't see it happening as again like Donnington there would need to be a massive injection of Captial and ass by Silverstone this year even if you make a profit it pretty much nothing so no one really wants to invest in somthing that's not going to make huge $$$$

Bernie has pretty much $&#$% GP racing with his stupidly high hosting fees, it a pitty that the FOTA didn't nuture him when they had the chance in the middle of this year, but then again there leader John Howitt is a brainless twit

Spanky may have gone but his hand Puppet Todt is now in charge so I doubt things will change

$50 to the man who shoots the midget

Can anyone tell me what time the race is on tonight?
Looking on the sky tv online guide it says 2am, but then on the planet-f1 site the countdown timer says 4 hours to go (so midnight).
