The color of petrol?

After some information on how to tell what petrol is what.

91,
96,
98,
avgas is green But what about the rest?

In particular what color is 98 from BP?

98 from BP is yellowish, slightly (very slightly) green.
Don't use other ones so I cannot comment.

91 is purple/red.
Current:KE30 my baby,ke35 (now going to get the 2t treatment),isuzu spacecab ute
past: AE82 FXGT

The 95 that I usually put in my bike looks pretty yellow, not sure how you'd tell the difference between that and 98 (which also looks yellow).

I believe yellowish is the natural colour of gas
Like WRF is similar colour as PB98, but smells entirely different.
You can dell difference between 91, 95 and 98 just by smell.

my understanding was each company had its own color system

or that there was at least more than one common one

i generally find 91 a purpley colour
95 redish
98 yellow

diesel is green

all petrol iv seen is purple.

the colour if diesel is added as when we get diesel refined in singapore its like glow in in the dark fluro green but regular stuff is normal lime green

that's all I needed to know.

Had some yellow stuff that was meant to be 98,

And it looks like it is 98 then.


I had a feeling 91 was yellow,

but then all i've seen in the last year really is diesil for the van,
and avgas for the race car.
