Man, such an awesome track... So much bling round there!
And a 1km wide Ferrari park 8O
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I found this an interesting rumour I saw in the latest autosport paper apparently Toyota have tabled an offer to Kimi Raikkonen to drive for them next year as Timo Glock maybe leaving for Renault and Trulli might be exiting aswell and Kobayashi might be taking his seat. The article went onto say that Toyota are willing to move there finances around to accomodate the Raikkonen move.

Kimi has said no to Toyota, and that McLaren is the only he will consider.

Bugger Toyota need a headline driver but it sounds like non of the top guys want to drive for Toyota.Oh well then I think the Toyota way of running a F-1 team has clearly not worked and they might have to reaccess how they run that side of things as if non of the top guys want to drive for the team how are they going to win a race let alone a championship.

Kobayashi is making the most of his oppourtunity as in GP2 he didn't do anything but good luck to him.

They still need to find a creditable top line driver, its alright to go young but they need some success or in my view the writing is on the wall for Toyota's exit out of F-1.

Would kinda be surprised if they really are, considering that just last week they were saying that they wanted Kimi to drive for them next season.

But then perhaps the fact they cant get a top level driver could have sealed there fate. Be interesteing to find out if it really is true, I had a google but only came up with rumours, nothing official yet. :?

The article I saw on yahoo sports sounded definite to me they went on to say Akio Toyoda the CEO himself announced at a private meeting and they just have'nt gone public yet but to me the writing's been on the wall for the last couple of years for Toyota.

300 million a year to run the team times 8...So correct me if I'm wrong 2.4 billion over 8 years and not to win a race ouch....That has to hurt Toyota's pride a little as they have thrown everything bar the kitchen sink at it and to not at least have one win yep thats got to hurt a little.

They did sign a legal agreement to be in till 2012 so I suppose there is still a chance they'll be in but I'm thinking they'll just pay the fine and bail and save themselves alot of pain and heartache.
