Luxury Sports exhaust for Aristo on Trademe

Postby Crampy » Sun Nov 22, 2009 10:14 pm

I've spotted this sytem on Tardme and was wondering what it would be like an a JZS161 Aristo. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 679146.htm
I've seen recently (on here) a MR2 that used a manifold from these guys and it lunched itself. So is their quality no good, or is it just with it being a stainless turbo exhaust manifold?

Well I asked them if they offer warranties on there products.
I'm not so impressed with the reply.

Wouldn't touch em with a barge pole. There doesn't seem to be any consistency with their stuff - some products work well, some don't work at all - bit of a luck of the draw thing. "churr bro"

I think Pitstop do decent exhausts for the money. Or you can spend a lot more on importing a JDM one like HKS, Kakimoto or Tanabe or something along the lines. I think factory exhaust system has plenty of flow. It's twin pipes if i recall correctly. Big fat aftermarket pipes = scraping on steep driveways and speed bumps and getting pulled over by the law enforcement.

looks pretty half arsed eh. the auction says they get their stuff out of japan, i would have thought anything decent they'd be shouting about the brand name

even if it was being made specially for them, it'd be 'made for luxury sports in the trust factory!' or wtf ever

Check out Woolf Mufflers or Al's Mufflers on the Shore if you want an exhaust.

Al's have been great when I've used them.

Did you purchase anything from us before if not y you say so. tell you wat if you keep saying this i will find my laywer and trademe support to do the rest. welcome 2 my blacklist club

what an absolute moron. HEH SO WHAT DID U BUY FROM US? LOL! CANT TELL US CUZ U BLACKLISTED!

I should send them photos of the seat rails I got that didn't come even remotely close to lining up with the seat, alongside the e-mail where they specified that they would fit that model of bucket seat.
