Man, with all these open seats, hopefully Kobayashi gets a seat! I quite like the Japanese, and was pretty disapointed with Nakajima.
Kobayashi looks like hes got what it takes!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

That's what I thought when I first saw it, but when you consider that Ross Brawn has been on all the teams when he has won the W/C then I think it's a lot more likely ;)

While I would love for that to be true, this is the bit that makes that article hard to believe.....

Record-breaking multiple F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher will sensationally return to the grid with Mercedes Grand Prix in 2010 – that is the expert view of BBC pundit Eddie Jordan, the man who first gave the German his break in the top flight almost two decades ago.

Eddie Jordan talks soo much crap, its hard to believe much that come out his mouth. Occasionally would get the pre race BBC feed on the net, and honestly you just wanted someone to smack him sometimes.

Perhaps Sauber should have purchased Toyota's 2010 entry, instead of some unknown Serbian outfit

Toyota should just pay the fine and be done with it they'll be saving $150 mill by not entering but again as already mentioned what a mess.

Hartley slowest in young drivers test

http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,18954, ... 22,00.html

Obviusly we dont know if they were doing long distance runs, or whatever, but being bottom of the timesheets isnt all that good for impressing teams :(

To add some perspective, the other guy who drove the STR over night was half a second slower than Hartley.

my sentiments as well. once you have earned a drive, do what you like with your hair, but until that point, one needs to be fully presentable to potential teams/sponsors etc.

exactly, have my reservations about him... i dont know the full story about his season last year, but it seemed he made a lot of mistakes etc which may have hurt his chances. seems he sometimes looses his cool and gets himself into situations that he should really back out of and just get on with the job. but, i may be wrong. but yea, get a haircut and do a good job!!

I like the larger gaps for the first few.

Also all the teams are going to launch next years cars at the same time and venue,

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/80509

Also Renault have confirmed that they will be racing next year, albeit as minority stake holders in the team

Good idea that gives more teams a chance to score points pity it took them this long I wonder if teams like Honda and Toyota would have hung around if this point scoring system had ben put into place a few seasons ago.
