my best was 205 on a 9.5 + we did the 185 on a 9.5 for some one once :)

A racing tyre designed to be used a certain way is not what we are talking about here

I think it looks mean, you can fit wider rims / go lower / whatever.

Tyre will only come off bead if you're dumb enough to drive on it flat, yes it will come off sooner but not by much.

Rims will only get curbed if you're dumb enough to drive into a curb.

And yes it is safe, I have never had any issues and I drive like a $&#$%
