The Wheel Suggestion Thread

Postby MR2BOY23 » Sat Dec 19, 2009 2:07 pm

So looking at getting some new wheels for the 2. Went in and saw Nick at magwarehouse but it seems pretty hard to find something I really like. So I hope toyspeed can help me decide

Wanting 17X7 on the front and 17X8 on the rear

The only set I found with correct fitment was these

Not too keen on matt black however, would prefer a gloss black

Whos got the awesome photochopping ability

Thanks guys

yahoo.co.jp, and purchase through Ewan on hayatonka.com (expat kiwi)

Work meister's in 3 piece always a safe bet.

How much coin you want to spend and what sort of style are you after? suggest looking online at sw20's and see what sort of thing floats your boat and go from there.

Should get fluro yellow te37's tbh

Don't really want to spend anymore than $1500

Im looking for something black with silver lip. Really wanted work meister style wheels but don't think they do them in the fitment I need

Go the wider ones. 255s on the rear FTW.

If those first wheels are carson then avoid them like the plague , very soft rims , you will be forever fixing them , is your budget of $1500 including tyres ? cause if so you wont have alot of choice , those other mags nick can get have you talked to him properly ? :?

i would go for 17x9 and 17x10 or 18x10, get nick to get a 17x9 in around a 35 offset and then play with 5mm spacers to get to the right offset, around +25 seems to work well, so a +35 with 10mm spacer or a +25 if you can find one.

im guessing you already have coilovers? what size tyre do you want to run? work out your specs before searching for a design you want
When in doubt, down and out.
