tell me this

how, just how can it be possible that soooo many ppl kept that secret
come on, NOTHING can be kept secret. how many things have come out recently? how many times has some one from years ago made some revelation and confirmed stories?
no one, not ONE person involved has spoken up and said "well actually, i was there when they faked it"

I voted no and the simple answer is, its the government............all those who even thought about spilling the beans were killed.

All i can say in my opinion..............and we are all entitled to our own opinions, i dont think my view will change until i witness it for myself..........

No Plans for return trips

Images show that Stars were missing from the black lunar sky

Absence of engine noise in official NASA footage - how was it possible to clearly hear the voices of the Astronauts?

No Blast Crater under the LEM after the powerful engines had been fired

Astronauts Footprints - How was it possible for footprints to be left undisturbed and without dust

American Flag was waving - how is this possible when there is no air on the moon

Pictures of the ascent of the LEM - images appear to show that the LEM was jerked up, as if by a cable, there was no evidence of an exhaust plume

Grainy, Unclear images although technology at the time could have produced much clearer images - Did NASA intentionally make the images hard to see?

Still Photographs - Cameras were fitted to the Astronauts chest - there was no view finder and photographs could only be taken by movement of the body but 1000's of flawless photographs were taken

Crosshairs on Still Photographs - The crosshairs on the photographs could only be on the top of images but pictures of the Astronauts and the Flag clearly show that the crosshairs were partially obscured, beneath the images

Shadows - The only source of light on the moon was the Sun but shadows were cast in multiple directions

Lighting - Images of Astronauts were brightly lighted although their positions would have clearly been in shadow. Some images indicate that the Astronauts appeared to be in spotlight

Backgrounds - the backdrops or the moonscape of some images appear to be identical although NASA stated that the images were taken at different times and locations which were over 2 miles apart

The Van Allen Radiation Belt - Could the Astronauts survive travelling through the deadly radiation belt which is situated 500 miles above the earth and is 1000's of miles thick with only the protection from their space suits and the thin covering of the space ship when it is estimated that 6 feet of lead would be necessary would have been needed. None of the Astronauts have since showed any signs of radiation poisoning

No other manned mission has gone through the Belt

Silencing - It seems unreasonable that information would not have been leaked about any such hoax - theorists therefore believe that key witnesses, including members of the Astronaut Corps, were deliberately silenced. Between 1964 and 1967 10 astronauts died in accidents - 15% of the corps.

way to drag up an old topic....
every one of your "facts".... well thay are not facts....
simple as that really...
do a search, they are all easily explained by science. And the mythbusters!

as i said its just my opinion. my view is the moon landing is on par with god,pot of gold under the rainbow, and those panther things down south
as for myth busters, we were paid by the government to do all that stuff
im pretty sure you have seen me on the show

The great thing about facts is that opinions are irrelevant.

Moon Hoax conspiracy theorists should be held in the same contempt as creationists, flat earthists and homeopaths.

Images show that Stars were missing from the black lunar sky.
In order to capture the detail of the very bright lunar surface, the camera needs to be set up so that it blocks a lot of light so that you don't just end up with a white image....its the same reason why we can't see stars in the day time with the naked eye.

Absence of engine noise in official NASA footage - how was it possible to clearly hear the voices of the Astronauts? Because they were in their space suits where there is atmosphere. There is no atmosphere in space so no engine noise (externally- you would hear some noise inside the ship)

No Blast Crater under the LEM after the powerful engines had been fired. They weren't that powerful- they didn't need to be since gravity is less. There was also evidence of shifted matter under the lander if you care to look

Astronauts Footprints - How was it possible for footprints to be left undisturbed and without dust. Because there is no wind on the moon (no atmosphere = no pressure difference = no wind)

American Flag was waving - how is this possible when there is no air on the moon.
The flag was on a swivelling pole and had a secondary pole to keep the flag extended....the only 'waving' was when the astronauts were touching it.

Pictures of the ascent of the LEM - images appear to show that the LEM was jerked up, as if by a cable, there was no evidence of an exhaust plume.
The module used a liquid fuel rocket which doesn't give off a plume (rocket exhausts behave very differently in a vacum compared to an atmosphere)

Grainy, Unclear images although technology at the time could have produced much clearer images - Did NASA intentionally make the images hard to see? Does that disprove the moon landings does it?

Still Photographs - Cameras were fitted to the Astronauts chest - there was no view finder and photographs could only be taken by movement of the body but 1000's of flawless photographs were taken. 1000s of photos with flaws were taken.....and these guys had been practicing for a long time.

Crosshairs on Still Photographs - The crosshairs on the photographs could only be on the top of images but pictures of the Astronauts and the Flag clearly show that the crosshairs were partially obscured, beneath the images.
Not beneath the images, look closely and youll see that the thin cross hairs have just been 'bloomed' out (i.e. bright light overwhelming the small cross hairs on the film)

Shadows - The only source of light on the moon was the Sun but shadows were cast in multiple directions.
Shadows are only cast in straight lines if the receiving surface is flat. The moon surface, littered with craters, is not.

Lighting - Images of Astronauts were brightly lighted although their positions would have clearly been in shadow. Some images indicate that the Astronauts appeared to be in spotlight

Disproven- Check the website I posted earlier

Backgrounds - the backdrops or the moonscape of some images appear to be identical although NASA stated that the images were taken at different times and locations which were over 2 miles apart.

This is caused by the extreme clarity (no atmosphere)- 'hill's that look close were in fact many kilometers away.

None of the Astronauts have since showed any signs of radiation poisoning. No other manned mission has gone through the Belt

Travel to Chernobyl and spend a few minutes there- you will be fine. Spend a few days there and you won't be so well.

Astronauts were exposed to radiation, but they were only in the belt for a short time. Radiation problems are a function of the strenght and DURATION of exposure.

Silencing - It seems unreasonable that information would not have been leaked about any such hoax - theorists therefore believe that key witnesses, including members of the Astronaut Corps, were deliberately silenced. Between 1964 and 1967 10 astronauts died in accidents - 15% of the corps.

What about the MILLIONS of people that worked on the program? The engineers that actually made the components? Did they simply make a part that they knew wouldn't work? Of course not. So if all those people made parts that worked why is it so hard to believe that the whole proejct (mostly) worked?

I find it strange how people seem to confuse the words 'fact' and 'opinion' so easily.

IE, if the facts a wrong, they become opinion :P

Isn't fact only ever a conclusion based upon analysis of the data recieved?

Change the data and the conclusion can change... therefore changing the fact. This doesn't even take into account the bias of the one arriving at the conclusion.

Conclusion: facts are written by people, people are flawed, there are no facts.

If conspiracy theorists ever created a world wide organization, that would be their oath :P

I haven't been to the moon, but I've seen videos of it.
