I did this but the other way around, I assume its a modern bumper that wraps around to the rear 1/4, unfortunately not much you can do due to the effective square meter-age as a result, unless you know someone in the game

Depot to depot @ main freight. Also, did you take the bumper in for a quote or just call up? Go in for a price if you didn't.

Cheap/easy way if your not in a hurry is talk to one of the race teams when they come down & get it in their Transporter & get someone at the other end to pick it up. Unfortunately missed the Tier1 stuff until anyone from down there comes up for Taupo next month. Alternatively the V8Utes are coming down at the end of next month & there is the possibility there of doing something just not sure yet on how is taking a truck/transporter down yet.

Like I said, thats what it cost a guy I was selling to, was also depot to depot.

Try and see if you know anyone who works in Chch at a company that has a lot of stock moved between islands.

that is the best way... unfortunaly it also didnt happed with me.
one of the trucks was comming back through christchurch to auckland, i had organised a bumper to be dropped off in christchurch, but the guy forgot an took it in the next day... the truck was in wellington by then.

got it up in the end through BPT transport, it was around the $100 mark.
