My Rolla was hit twice at Westgate, within two months of me buying it. Both times it was on the rear bumper, which had been resprayed two weeks before I bought it because the previous owner backed into a very small post (which couldnt be seen from the car).

If you are reversing out of a car park, remember to turn after you start reversing and there is enough room for the front of the car to swing.

I think they should stop giving licences out to Old people, Asian People, Young People (anyone younger than me {22yrs}), Females, Poor People with sh*t cars, contractors (they always have dents on the corners), infact all imigrants should lose their licences........

I'm young, 17 and I have never driven into a parked car, I have been driving since the day I turned 15 as well.

Bah, I work at a mall and I wouldn't park in a mall car park. I usually park on the side of the road on a pretty quiet suburban street. I try and find a spot where no one's gonna park too close infront/behind me too. I really can't be $&#$% with people who hit you then bugger off.

I used to work in a supermarket and we weren't allowed to park into the carpark. One night while I was working some lady decided to 3pt-turn into a driveway and while reversing out, hit my rear driverside door. Bitch tried driving off but someone saw her and came and got me.

Later on that night as I was walking towards my car to drive home, a car full of stoners reversed out of another driveway, AND HIT MY FRONT DOOR!! 2 seperate acidents on different doors, less than 2hrs apart. How the Hell can anybody not see a white car in their rearview mirror??!? $&#$%... :x

Old thread I know, but I had my caldina no more than two weeks and I parked on the road one night at my mates. I went and did my thing had a few laughs etc. Came out and some drunk "muthatrucker" had kicked in the back end of it. Smashed the lights pushed the mirrors back. I've now had this car nearly a year and I'm still finding small dents

Tried that with my mint skyline... when i worked at The Palms, but some cnut decided the nice secluded street i was on provided good cover to steal my car in.

Btw, Dobby, good work at bringing up a MASSIVE THREAD DIG from like 3-4 years ago.

Seing as this has been revived, try this, the day after i get my car back cos my passengers front guard, and the the whole of the rear were scraped hugely by a 4wd bull bar with no note either might i add. i come out form the supermarket to a nice scrape and dent inthe exact same place... not as big, but still very annoying, and right at the top of the wheel arch... Oh and a truck while i am slowing down to merge lanes coming up beside us while my mum is driving my car, and with the big front wheel nuts, making huge dents and scrapes in the side and then denying it was him!!!!!! gave us a fake name and number, and bosses name, and wouldnt give us his licence number, and buggered off before the police could get there, took us a month to get him to own up after chasing his boss through his company.!

I too have been the victum of idiots pulling out infront of me.

1st:

Had my old MK2 Escort Estate panelled & painted. Got it back from the painters on the Friday afternoon. Reassembled the entire car that night & took it to Auckland. 2 days later (Sunday) pulled out of big boy's toys, was cruising back down towards the motorway & low & behold a Camry pulls out in front of me. Fwark I was pissed. The driver was "feeling a bit seedy" from the night before. Her insurance paid out, but took me six weeks to find a replacement guard, grill & valence for the thing. :x :x

2nd: Driving along when a guy who was stopped in a right turn bay decided to turn back into the traffic flow, I smacked the side/ rear of him and tapped him into a ute. Wrote off my car :x

On the up note, when I park at work I park between two peoples Vehicles that work longer hours than I do = no dents or scratches from cars ever. :D

Yeh similar story.
Just got my R34 back on the road after 4-5 months, FIRST day, some little 15 yr old learner decided to pull out from the left in rush hour at 60km.
Her Laurel was a right off, luckily it only smashed my headlights and crumpled bonnet.

They wern't happy paying off 2 new xenon R34 headlights

Got a towball in my drivers door a few months ago, left a good sized dent. Try finding a frameless GX71 drivers door in NZ

Had an AW11 written off by my neighbour on our shared driveway. There's a parking area for two cars half way up the driveway, idiot neighbour likes to back his company car up the driveway at 60k an hour and swing it round in the parking area to turn round. Was only a matter of time before he ended up doing this I guess. Pushed the front guard and door in, must have moved the pillar a bit cause insurance wrote it off. Annoying to see a good car destroyed by an idiot, but wasn't that pissed as the car was for sale anyway.

3 years ago driving my notch with girlfriend in passengers on our second date,
a young girl and car load of guys in a white r32 floor it out of the shell station and T bones my car on the passengers door. glass in my girls face, door wont open and the driver tries to drive off, lucky a cop was on the side of the road attending another ticket saw the whole thing.
chase her around the corner and makes her park up,

15 year old girl on learners after hours $400?
3 scumbag guy passengers with no licenses $400
no seatblets $50
no WOF or REG $400
trying to drive off. fine?
repairs to my notch $2100

she trys to tell my insurance its not worth fixing a shitty red corolla and she wont pay over $500, so i told my panel guy to go to town on the job.
if she was nice about the whole thing from the start like stop and ask if we where ok i would of been fine with a secondhand door but toyota new doors a NICE!!!
