im a mountain biker too and i wont even ride on the road for 500 metres as i know how dangerous and how much it annoys other road users when when you come around a corner at 100 kmph and you get stuck behind 2 cyclists doing 20 kph, mountain bikers have to pay to use tracks or build the tracks themselves instead of using roads that where built and paid for by automobiles. motor cyclists have to pay ridiculous amounts to use the roads and they probably only do as much damage as a push bike
