ok, As Leon has said, My Ae111 Blacktop Levin I had, I took out a driveright mechanical warranty when i bought it and would seriously recommend staying clear of them, I had nothing but hassles whith everything that went wrong on the Levin, Superstrut suspension X2 and apparently using 1 Litre of oil per 100km is usual wear and tear.

The warranty I got with the Subaru is awesome, Havent had anything major, but everything has been hassle free, Nil excess and covered up to the purchase price of the car.

I have had Diff seals and Rocker cover gaskets repaired twice with no hassle, The company is: Motorplus - I would highly recommend them.

Read the terms before purchasing any warranty, Most wont cover clutches for wear, Mazda rotaries, exotic euro cars etc.....
Most wont cover modifications unless they are stated at the commencment of the warranty so get it noted on your policy

We got our moneys worth by getting the trans fixed. only had to pay for fluids and excess. Unfortunatly the shop had it back around 5 fimes to get it right.

you should be doing at least an oil and filter on those intervals anyway, for any car you give a rats about at least.

Yes, but a lot of people here would rather do the work themselves rather than spend $200 letting an apprentice loose on our cars

That's why you always make sure you know a mechanic you can trust. I had a 3 year warranty on my car back in the day. Mechanic used to do it every 15,000km (the requirement) and i'd do it twice again before he did it again.

Most modern cars are around that kind of service interval. Combination of better metallurgy, oil and a want to keep waste oil down :?
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

It wasnt the servicing that annoyed me, It was more of the sending everything in on time. Kind of hard when the workshop that did the servicing didnt give the invoice untill the following day they give your car back.
