There are a few in NZ, even a Mugen Type RR in NZ. Some how a red FN2 Type R found its way to NZ too.

yeah true, but I have alot of respect for Honda still sticking to what they know and providing a decent rival to european hot hatches, toyota gave that up a long time ago, if indeed they were every really competing

that new type r is very impressive i wonder why they did a 0-300 metre test when comparing it to the dc5 i bet 0-400 would be alot closer.toyota would never build something that fast it never has (i dont have facts just guesing) and probally never will.

TBH at the end of the day it's still a FWD N/A, I don't care how saturated the red is on the R badge.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Incredible bit of machinery.

Not fussed on the looks though. To my mind a Civic is a small car, not something that appears almost Lancer sized.

Quite like the look of the CTR sedan, I'd own one. Looks better than the latest hatch CTR!

I think the cars are amazing. They always have been.

IT's the minority of them drivers that let the cars down.

I actually like the looks of the Civic at first I thought wtf its a sedan, but then it grows on you.

wow, that's some impressive piece of kit! I wouldn't say no to owning one of them or an NSX!

I actually like the Civic over the DC5, I feel the proportions of the DC5 are just skewed in the wrong direction - the Civic has a nice low flat looking stance and I bet it would look real awesome slammed even further on some sweet JDM wheels, but from the sounds of it that would mess with the finely tuned standard suspension and wheel package which already comes on them.

Might be a car to have in 10 years time when no doubt they get cheaper to stash away for decades to come - a probable future classic.
