Waikato Cruise, Whos keen?

Postby bbq1988 » Tue Jan 05, 2010 11:04 pm

Me and a few mates have been crusing some back roads over the last few days, And thought that it would be good for a cruise.

So we are planning a cruise that covers about 300km's over windy back roads in the waikato, and having a bbq aswell.

Please post interest and dates that you would be able to attend here. If there is enough interest i will post a notice up. Me and mates will do it anyway.

Most surfaces are sealed but there may be the odd small gravel patch.
There will be plenty of windy/wobbly roads (Touge type) and also a few good straight roads.

You WILL Use alot of fuel on these roads :D But we dont have performance cars to worry about the fuel bill now do we??

Cheers

the only gravle patches will be roadworks. and will be going slow on, hopfuly we can do it before the roads turn to shit and start melting  but if that happens it will just have to postponed for a month or two

there will be a few of us here but the more we have the better..

we could posably setup a bbq pitstop or somthing aswell

Failing that, maybe a park up & BBQ somewhere?

Have Rego on the Levin now nad FD is close to being road worthy.

Meh, brother's still working on the wiring for it. He spent a full day on sunday. Sweet FA left to do on it. Run in tune is this Sunday. Just needs some fan mounting brackets welded to the radiator, piping for the radiator, vacuum lines for BOV, wastegate & ECU & an alternator bracket.
Otherwise it's just a case of him finishing the wiring so i can bolt the rest of it all together.

So yea, not this weekend. think I'm away next weekend so maybe the 18th??
