After two races it's not clear at all who the better championship contender is. What if it cost Massa the championship if he let Alonso through?

Team orders are all well and good when there is a clear favourite for the championship, but you'd have to be a fool, or have a contract for a #1 driver, to favour one driver over another this early on.

Thats in your opinion I personally think its a no contest I think Alonso is the length of the street better than Massa and if it were Massa defending Hamilton I think Massa would have crumbled under the pressure Hamilton was putting on Alonso.

I just look at the last 2 GP's I think it will become very clear that Alonso will be the better driver and I think Massa won't even be a Ferrari next year and you can quote me on both because I don't like to sit on the fence I like to put it out there.

In my view Ferrari signed Alonso for a reason and 1 reason only and thats to win the championship back for Ferrari.Massa has come close but its proven when put under the pump by people like Hamilton he will crack and now it seems Ferrari have a half decent car I see Alonso being the no.1 there and it will prove to be so and soon I hope.

But Alonso has already cracked under pressure from Hamilton

I missed Hamilton "mouthing off against the team" What was that about?
And his style of always putting a nose in someones mirror, Craig Lowndes does the same thing and Skaife has mentioned several times it increases the pressure a lot!

Redbull need to sort out reliaility! That race was typical Webber... He has always made stupid mistakes costing himself results.

I was at the GP will have some pictures up shortly

It should have been called the Mark Webber GP, you would have thought he was the only driver competing

Vettel looked to have it in the bag until his break fail, was sitting on coner run and each lap you could see the gap building

Once Button got in front it really was all over he is so much smother then anyone else and was just clean and consistant

Was stoked for Kubica he was pushing hard all race

Both Ferraris look similar in performance and both made silly mistake at important time's both were happy with the results, defantly no team orders there this early in the season Alonso jsut couldnt get past or didn't want to risk 4th

I really enjoyed the weekend and am now conpemplating Singapore or Japan next year

So... What'd people think of the grid?! Qualifying yesterday was awesome to watch - see how bad the decisions of Mclaren/Ferrari were?!

Interesting! Glad to see my underdog pick, Kobayashi in there ;)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Well Sebs Redbull finally held together...

Storming drive by Hamilton to pass all those cars! Interesting that Button ended up right there as well until he faded with worn tyres.... WHo'd have thunk it, Button fading on worn tyres!

Alonso would be gutted with his DNF, did quite well to drive and push with an issue like that.

Ferrari are doing there best to sabotage Alonso in my view he's clearly faster than Massa. What Massa was doing behind Beuemi killed off Alonso's charge and than ala Kimi Raikkonen in 09 now reliability issue's.I'll say this if it were Alonso behind that STR car he would have rounded him up like Hamilton did I hope this issue Ferrari are having with not having a No.1 driver doesn't come back to bite them in the end as I really think in the last 2 weeks a combination of the Team and Massa have effectively killed Alonso's efforts dead as with Massa the road block not making an impression on those in front just murder's Alonso's race pace.

Mind you in saying this if Alonso could sought out Qualifying then he probably could make things alot easier on himself.

Wouldn't have made much difference to Alonso if he had got past!

I think the fact Teflonsos motor popped was the main reason he race was a disaster

End of day if Alonso wanted to pass he would, it not up to the team to ask his team mate to pull over it up to him to out quaify his team mate, then out race him.

Was stoked to see Vettel pass Webber on the first corner

Was less then impressed with Hamiltons weaving, could really see the McLaren cheart duct working on the strights was funny he couldnt get past the Force india though.

Great to see the Virgin get home for the first time also

This is buidling up to be a great season

Nothing really wrong with that weaving.
Notice Petrov was following his lines, not Hamilton trying to block. Plus it was out of a corner, not into or under braking. Hence why just a warning not penalty

Yeah, I had no issue with Hamiltons weaving. What another great drive by him, coming from 20th up to 6th (?? cant remember exact position).
Happy to see Vettel get the win, if that red bull stops falling apart, its looking pretty dangerous for the rest of the season, in a league fo there own.

Also, seems these tyre rules do what they wanted, fast cars catching slow cars at the end of teh race, however its still the same old story of not being able to do anything once you catch up.

My two favourite drivers are Vettel, and Sutil.

Vettel is who I hope takes the championship win,

Sutil is my underdog favourite who I like to see do reasonably well in the Force India car... Stoked to see him come in 6th.

If there was no problem with Hamilton's weaving then why did race officials give him a warning if that had happend on the next lap I think Hamilton's getting a penalty for sure.

I agree it was extremely noticable. You could tell when it had those incar views how bad it was.

As for Vettel and Red Bull; i think they are shoe-ins this season unless Button can keep up with them.
