when your 100% commited to racing and then see something like that of course you'd be put off, if it was just a spectator standing there I guarantee he wouldnt have noticed

$&#$% hell, it is some what funny but at the same time you feel his pain.

Imagine what was going through his head, listening to the race notes, then "wtf, did I just see...a brown eye, why am I still looking...oh god it slike a trainwreck I can't not look at it, so shockingly white"

Followed by "Ah $&#$%, the c**t pulled his ass out"

Could be far worse.
i think it was '96? when he was full chat into a dusty flying finish only to find a Japanese competitor stopped in the middle of the road.

So........ Sort of along the lines of the metallica tickets:

What do you guys think of people getting stuff signed by drivers just so they can make a quick buck on trade me?

Theres Seb Ogiers front bumper listed which he had signed (start reserve has dropped from 1000 to 500: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Antiques-colle ... 184258.htm

Then theres guys like this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listin ... er=2228684 that have lots of signed stuff for sale, this guy did the same thing last time the rally was in town, I think I saw him pushing in front of kids last time to get autographs then listed it all on trade me, is this fair, robbing people of thier chance to see thier heroes and get momentos signed so that guys like this can make a dollar or 2?

We had a couple of things signed when we were last there and there's no way in hell we will part with them!

I would never buy signed stuff from anyone but the guy themselves or their authorised agent - unless a genuine resale after a period of time.

Obvious fsckwits like those examples don't deserve the business.

I'm pretty sure it genuine after watching the dramas evolve on the last day, I would hang it in the garage as a momento, I dont think he is doing anything too wrong, I mean it was a piece of junk on the side of the road realistically - a cool piece of junk though
