Which processor do you prefer?
This is for all you computer geeks out there (myself included)..........
Which processor do you prefer between AMD, Intel, Citrix (don't know if anyone actually uses them anymore)
I was just wondering about this coz there seems to be a never ending battle between the two. I myself am a dedicated AMD user since Pentiums just keep $$% out and giving me too much bullshit which I can't be bothered dealing with every day.

I reakon you mean the CPU..if so then sorta. Don't worry...heaps of people don't know what each part is called. I am forever getting people calling up at work saying "my modems not working" or "when i push the mower button on the modem" and Im like power button on the modem?? and they more often than not mean the pc itself..they call it a modem
I prefer AMD Athlon....Hewlett Packard has turned me off Pentium 4's with all the CRAP the pre install on the pc that makes it SLOW...and Im sure they don't use the type they say they do, my PIII 500 is faster than some of there P4 2.4's!! I'd also take a Duron over a Celeron but you hardly ever see either of those 2 proccesors these days.

i hate Intel becuase they do stupid money making things like having different cpu slots for each kind of model they make compared to AMD who have ONE!! (well thats what they had when i built my pc ages ago) so you could buy the cheapest AMD duron cpu then upgrade to the bling bling $$% when you have the money without buying a whole new mainboard. no im not a geek!!!
It's amazing how little some people know about computers. For example, most non-computer people I meet in NZ call disk space "memory."
